Capturing Ideas
- Keep a small notebook, index cards, or scrap paper with you at all times.
- Record questions or observations as soon as they occur.
- Maintain an idea file and review it periodically.
- Look for ideas that question, such as, "What if . . . ?" or "Why does . .
. ?"
