Dr. Scheid is a family physician interested in medical decision making and medical informatics. In his work in the Clinical Decision Making Program, he develops decision analyses for medical problems and studies ways to support decision making by health care providers and patients.
For his work in the clinic with the residents, Dr. Scheid was awarded the 2003 University Family Medicine Clinic Residency Preceptor of the Year Award.
