"I have been in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine since February 1978. My long-term interests include rural health/medicine, the culture of Oklahoma wheat farming families, the culture of Oklahoma, the psychology of physician-patient-family relationships, the history of Family Medicine, organizational downsizing, Slavic-American ethnic groups, ethnicity in American life, intergroup relations (ethnic, national, professional), nationalism, the history of American-Soviet (and Russian) relations. Slavic East-Central Europe, the psychoanalytic study of organizations, American culture, the psychology of Jewish history, and the unconscious organization of families and groups."
