OKLAHOMA/KANSAS JUDGMENT AND DECISION MAKING (OKJDM) ANNUAL WORKSHOP

The Oklahoma/Kansas Judgment and Decision Making Group will have its annual all day workshop on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. This workshop provides an opportunity for researchers from a variety of settings to share their work in the area of judgment and decision making.

Rick Thomas (OU Department of Psychology) is organizing the program, Robert Hamm (OUHSC Department of Family and Preventive Medicine) is organizing the publicity and the room; and Larry Bailey and colleagues (Civil Aero Medical Institute at FAA) are organizing the refreshments.

The workshop will start at 9:00 a.m. (coffee and donuts at 8:30 a.m.) in the PA conference room, which has a separate entrance on the northeast side of the OU Physicians Family Medicine Center building at 900 N.E. 10th Street in Oklahoma City. We would like very much to have you attend. You are certainly welcome to attend even if you do not prepare a presentation. We also encourage you to post copies of the attached announcement so that interested people in your department or workplace will be informed about the workshop.

Attendance is open but it helps our planning committee to know who is coming and, of course, who will talk. If you are interested in attending or giving a presentation, please fill out the registration form (see link below) and return it to Rick Thomas (via email or address below) by April 12. As it is just a one day workshop, presentation lengths will depend on the number of presenters registered.

If you are traveling to the workshop and would like to stay overnight, we will help you find a place to stay with those who live nearby, or help you find commercial lodging. Indicate this on the registration form, or call Robert Hamm at (405-271-8167) or Rick Thomas (405-325-4497) to talk about this.

Attendees will be invited to participate in an evening meal after the workshop, so please leave room in your schedule.
